Enchanted Hollow was started in 2000, in the Maxie, VA kitchen of Bridget Vanover, the president of the company. Bridget started making her own candles because she wanted a product that she knew would be safe for her family to be around , and that also smelled great. From my personal experience, I can tell you that she succeeded! I have a large house--over 2200 sq. Feet--and just one burning candle will smell throughout the entire house. In 2004 the company had grown to the extent that it was moved into a larger manufacturing facility, and Bridget added a Bath & Body line to compliment the candles. Currently, Enchanted Hollow products can be found in many retail stores as well as in magazines and, of course, on the Internet.
Now, about the products. All of Enchanted Hollow's products are made from natural ingredients. The candles are a soy wax, making for an entirely clean burn that contains none of the harmful bi-products that can be found in parafin wax candles. They are also highly scented and come in a large variety of scents to choose from--if you can choose, lol! Candles are available in tins, votives, melts, bakery candles, container and electric candles. The Bath & Body products come in the same variety of scents as the candles, and you can purchase whipped body lotion, whipped shea body butter, silky aloe body wash, pearlized bubble bath, lip butters and glosses, and body sprays.
